Product description:

The product is a cloud-based operations management software to optimize facilities, assets, and workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and monitor disaster recovery sites and processes.
• Create and maintains scripts/jobs to install, configure, monitor, and automate management tasks for SQL Server and other related activities.
• Assists with query tuning, design, and performance recommendations.
• Write high quality T-SQL scripts to support SQL job functions, queries, and other maintenance related tasks.
• Knowledge of MS SQL best practices and procedures, and the ability to work with other teams to ensure these best practices are integrated into application design.
• Create process and solutions for management and monitoring of SQL Server infrastructure
• Utilize source control and automation to assist in the configuration of SQL Server deployments and management solutions.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education
• Good English communications skills
• 3+ years of experience supporting SQL Server in an enterprise environment
• Experience with SQL Clustering and Availability Groups
• Experience with monitoring and provisioning SQL Server in AWS/Azure
• Ability to install, configure, and monitor SQL Server solutions that are high quality, scalable, and high performance
• Ability to automate redundant tasks using scripts, jobs, and other technologies
• Strong communication, partnership, teamwork and influencing skills required
• Experience with source control, scripting languages, programming languages, database engineering background

Bonus Points:

• Automation and/or experience with CI/CD, DevOps
• Certifications in technology, agile methodologies
