PHP developer (relocation to Cyprus)

Responsibilities:

• Develop consistent, secure and efficient code in PHP;
• Optimization and search for corner cases;
• Write unit tests;
• Write code documentation;
• Work closely with QA and product team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP;
• Experience in using PHP frameworks, preferably Yii2;
• Understanding of principles of database architecture and optimization of SQL queries for high load systems (MySQL);
• Experience with REST API;
• Understanding of microservice architecture;
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ etc.);
• Experience with Linux;
• Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.

Preferred, but not required:

• Have or willing to gain experience with Golang;
• Experience in Linux administration;
• Experience with Docker;
• Experience with other programming languages;
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency;
• Relevant university degree.
