We are currently seeking a Linux Engineer with Python or C++ experience to be a key member of the Software department that is developing an augmented reality platform for cars equipped with our holographic head-up displays. As a member of this team, you will focus mainly on integrating other teams’ modules into the whole system, developing new modules, optimizing and profiling software for the Linux family of operating systems.

Primary Tasks

• Development and support of debugging and diagnostics utilities.
• Development of modules in C++/Python.
• Support automatic software testing and profiling facilities.
• Search for and optimization of problem areas in the software.
• Maintenance of software installations on target devices in cars.

Expected Results

• Improve and support automatic software performance monitoring and testing infrastructure.
• Port C++/Python ROS1 based components to ROS2.
• Configure and maintain software on target devices in cars.

Requirements

• Linux endpoint administration and configuration experience.
• Experience in Python or C++ development.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of ROS/ROS2.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Debian packaging experience.
• Knowledge of Groovy and experience in Jenkins configuration.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
