It’s a groundbreaking approach, leading to products with maximum functionality, peak efficiency, and an elevated experience – at a much more competitive price than other electric vehicles, and even fossil fuel vehicles.

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for one of the in-house products. The system to be tested is a web application supporting loan origination, both from the customer and back-office perspective. The frontend uses a traditional tech stack (TS / React); the backend is a mesh of microservices built using the Kotlin/Spring Boot stack. The frontend and the backend connect by an additional layer (backend-for-frontend, BFF) powered by Node.js that exposes GraphQL API. The system is deployed using Kubernetes on AWS using GitLab for CI/CD. The system features multiple external integrations and long-running, asynchronous business processes automated using Camunda BPMN. Besides the web App, the system exposes REST APIs to be used by other Arrival systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop manual and automated testing solutions for distributed cloud systems from scratch
• Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites
• Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects
• Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings

Expertise:

• Extensive experience in QA and automation test development - preferably in-house, and in a big company environment
• Strong experience in Test Automation and delivering test automation strategies for Web applications and API services
• Familiar with CI/CD principles and Cloud technologies
• Solid command of English
• A team player attitude with solid proactive communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch, exploring new test automation tools and methods, establishing processes and toolsets to maintain automation scripts, and generating regular test reports
• Performance testing experience, knowledge, and practical experience in Jmeter/ LoadRunner/ Dynatrace or similar tools
