At Arrival Robotics, we are building a 100% robotic industrial factory that can accept and execute any new product design or configuration in real-time without having to re-layout the manufacturing process.

Now we are looking for a Scala developer for the Data Platform. This platform is responsible for all data management across the whole company as well as on-premise inside all Arrival Microfactories. Research and development are ongoing: nothing is written in stone yet, so you can influence our decisions and the technologies we use.

Responsibilities:

• Developing the core of Data Platform;
• Building new streaming pipelines and core streaming framework;
• Optimization and Performance tuning;
• R&D for new challenges.

Expertise:

• Proficiency with Java or Scala Core (3+ years);
• Strong knowledge of SQL (2+ years);
• Extensive experience in enterprise development (2+ years);
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures;
• Experience with Git/Maven;
• Fluent English.

We'd love it if you have:

• Understanding of the principles of distributed systems;
• NoSQL databases (graph, document, key-value);
• Data buses (Kafka, Rabbit, Pulsar, e.t.c.);
• Experience with Linux (as a power user).
