At present, we are looking for a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to be a key member of the Software department which is developing a rendering engine.

Primary tasks

Full cycle of deep learning models development for computer vision applications including:

• Research of approaches and implementation of most promising ones
• Development of data labeling rules and requirements
• Models improvement and optimization
• Preparation of models for integration into device and providing support to integration experts

Expected results

Developed CNN models which provide CV node with required features and meet performance criteria (quality, speed, FLOPs, etc.)

Requirements

• Good knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, optimization
• Knowledge of classic algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
• Good knowledge of scientific Python stack: NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Jupyter lab
• Experience in image processing and knowledge of following libs: OpenCV, Scikit-image and image processing tools (GIMP, etc)
• Excellent knowledge and experience with one of deep learning frameworks (preferably Tensorflow)
• Knowledge of deep learning models training and inference operation: layers, activations, optimizers, losses, gradient, backpropagation etc.
• Knowledge of most common CNN architectures used in classical computer vision deep learning tasks: Regression and classification / Object detection / Semantic/instance segmentation
• Understanding of experiment tracking and experience with related tools
• Experience in reproducing VPR/ICCV/ECCV papers

Will be a plus

• PhD in mathematics, computer science, physics, or related areas
• Experience in AutoML (AutoKeras, Microsoft NNI, etc.) and/or NAS
• Experience in training deep learning models in cloud and GPU clusters
• Familiar with CNN optimization: quantization, pruning, layer fusion, etc.
• Experience in training complex CNN combinations (GANs, Siamese networks, knowledge distillation, etc.)
• Experience in data labeling and knowledge of common data labeling tools
• Experience with real camera calibrations
• Familiar with coordinate system conversions, Euler angles, rotation matrix, and quaternions
• Experience with ROS
