This position requires relocation to Vilnius (Lithuania) and to Belgrade (Serbia). The relocation assistance will be provided.

We are currently looking for experienced, technically savvy and proactive Node.js developer who can join the team.

Our customer is an American technology company that has reinvented the insurance industry by combining data, design and technology. The customer's company has production sites in the USA, Europe and Australia. Within the framework of this project, work is underway to develop and support an online platform for business insurance.

Responsibilities:

• lead Node.js applications development;
• work with Backend Engineers to build and deliver features, on top of RESTful APIs;
• build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions;
• address performance issues;
• participate in code reviews;
• identify front-end best practices.

Requirements:

• expert JavaScript coder (ES6, ES5, patterns, best practices);
• NodeJS with KoaJS;
• MongoDB;
• react, AngularJS or any other JS libraries are required;
• responsive design, mobile-first, SASS or Less preprocessors;
• cross-browser compatibility issues knowledge, client-side performance;
• strong Computer Science fundamentals;
• team player, really motivated with technical challenges;
• time management skills.
