We are building a large Business Portal with .Net, React and Bitrix technology. The portal will serve SOFTSWISS employees, managers and clients. It will help us operate business, coordinate work with clients, submit data and access important business information.

We need a QA engineer to ensure quality of the builds that we will deliver incrementally to our users. QA engineer should organize work with other team members to ensure that requirements are developed properly, covered with proper tests and delivered with proper quality gates passed.

Responsibilities

  • Manual testing of the complex web-application;
  • Create\review test documentation and keep it up to date;
  • Test design and development: design and maintain test cases/checklists;
  • Communication with BA, DM, Developers regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations;
  • Document and track software issues using JIRA and Confluence ;
  • Defect reporting: report and re-test defects according to generally accepted best practices and internal policies;
  • Test activities planning: active participation in refinement and planning sessions, providing valuable feedback and accurate estimates for testing tasks;
  • Review and analyze system specifications;
  • Analyze requirements and make fast decisions;
  • QA internal knowledge base updating;
  • Participate in Scrum activities;
  • Follow internal processes and policy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in testing of web/server-side applications;
  • Understanding Agile (Scrum) methodologies;
  • Strong knowledge of software testing processes;
  • Knowledge of various software testing techniques and methods, as well as experience applying them;
  • Understanding of Development Lifecycle;
  • Experienced with developer tools for investigating browser problems;
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining test documentation (check-lists, test cases, etc.);
  • Experienced in working with management/tracking systems (we use Gitlab, JIRA, TestRail);
  • Knowing of HTTP principles;
  • Understanding of the client-server model (API testing, Postman, SoapUI);
  • Strong troubleshooting skills;
  • Strong analytical skills, responsibility, self-organization, attentiveness, and good learning skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in working with DBs;
  • Knowing SQL on level of receiving data from several tables.
