A leading global provider of information and communications technology is looking for Advance Cloud\Virtualization Expert.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the overall technological competitiveness of the container and virtualization: 1) Organize analysis of the technical plan in the industry; 2) Formulate the three-to-file -year technical plan for key technology evolution; 3) Specify the key technology acquisition strategy (self-development, cooperation, acquisition, and community) and implementation a plan step by step to support the construction of technological competitiveness at the soft-hardware level;
• Lead the team to explore the trend of next-generation container/virtualization architecture. Lead the selection, design, and prototype implementation of new controllable and trustworthy system soft-hardware architectures, key technologies, and key algorithms in a new computer system architecture. Lead related technical cooperation, technology development, acquisition, or open-source work, and be responsible for the competitiveness of the new soft-hardware architecture of cloud computing infrastructure;
• Take the lead in architectures and solutions of Huawei products in the cloud and virtualization field, promote the application and implementation of key technologies of the newly designed soft-hardware architecture in products, and promote the building of product competitiveness;
• Attract and hire talents to join the Lab and other departments in Huawei;
• Build a good ecosystem in the research community, the open-source community, and related industry organizations;
• Responsible for the requirement analysis, design, development, debugging and functional verification of operating system related modules, and implement the application of key competitiveness in a series of product solutions;
• Responsible for requirement analysis, design, and coding of the security subsystem, improving safety and reliability of the product software;
• Keep researching and solving the root issue of basic software; participate in industry trend insight, key challenge analysis, solution architecture design， and implementation, including but not limited to resource sharing competition, collaborative scheduling of diverse resources( computing, storage, transmission, etc.), software and hardware collaboration, global memory reliability, system security issues, isolation mechanism, etc.

Professional knowledge:

• Demonstrated experiences in leading research labs as well as high impact in the field;
• 7+ years solid design experiences related to Operating Systems, Computer Systems architecture, HW/SW co-design, distributed system software stack, and success use cases in IT/CT industry;
• Have experience in designing and developing software such as the Linux kernel, containers, K8S, etc;

• Computer, software, communication, electronics and other related majors, bachelor's degree or above;

  Familiar with mainstream CPU architecture ( x86/ARM is preferred).

Work Experience:

• R&D experience with top global cloud institutions, and highly influential within the industry;
• Have an in-depth understanding of operating system or distributed system principles;
• In-depth understanding of the cloud computing industry and the latest development trends, as well as unique insights into the development of the industry;
• Familiar with one or more key linux kernel module ( memory management, schedue, file system, driver, network etc.);
• At least proficient in one language in C/C++/Python/Java/Rust. Have Outstanding coding ability and solid engineering realization ability;
• Experience in virtualization/container design and development is preferred.
