Ruby Developer

OnTarget Labs, a leading outsourcing company in Russia, is looking for a Senior and Mid-level Ruby Developers to join the company on a full-time position. Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience writing Ruby code
• Strong experience building parallel/background processes on Ruby on Rails
• Experience building and releasing production web applications
• Experience using test-driven development
• Experience working with Databases
• Experience with DevOps is a plus
• Experience using AWS, Terraform, and Docker is a plus
• Exposure to machine learning or natural language processing is a plus
• Great written and verbal communication skills/English
• This position may require long term international business trip.

What you will do:

• Build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Lead the design of portions of the application architecture (for Senior position)
• Own projects focused on major feature development
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to develop features from conception to implementation
• Participate in peer code review
• Communicate software needs across teams
• Track down and fix bugs
• Mentor Junior Engineers (for Senior position)
