Huawei Moscow Research Center invites you to join our Computer Image Processing Group. Our team is engaged in research and development in the field of machine learning with a special focus on deep learning, computer vision, image/video reconstruction and 3D models. As a member of the team, you will work on some of the most challenging and ambitious research problems in the field of computer vision. Research topics of interest include, but are not limited to, neural renderers, implicit and neural 3D representations and 3D reconstruction, posture assessment, etc. The team has an active interest in research and publications, so you will have the opportunity to publish your innovative results at the best international conferences on ML and CV

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative computer vision and machine learning technology for applications in the field of 3D reconstruction, neural rendering and more
• Contribute code in internal libraries for implementing various deep learning solutions and network architectures
• Carry out novel research and prepare technical reports to be published at conferences/journals in the computer vision/machine learning field

Key Qualifications:

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in Computer Vision, machine learning or related areas
• Practical experience in deep-learning-based approaches for 3D computer vision applications
• Experience with at least one of the deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow
• Strong background on Linear Algebra, Functional Analysis, Statistics, Optimization
• Solid programming skills in Python is a must
• Good programming skills in C++/CUDA is a plus
• Good communication, writing and presentation skills in English
