Consumer Business Group (CBG) of Huawei is open for talented and qualified researchers. The group is responsible for technical innovation in the hardware platform of consumer devices, such as smartphones, wearables and many others. We are looking for people to perform research in the areas of electromagnetic signal simulation and processing. Your results will be used in future consumer devices in application to such areas as medical sensing for sports, health and wellbeing. As a member of the team, you will work on some of the most challenging and ambitious technical problems that will influence Huawei products.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of electromagnetic (EM) signal processing algorithms-developing signal processing algorithms and simulations for extracting high-resolution information on human vital signs in conditions of low SNR and interference
• Optimize algorithms design and performance to make them subject-, view- and scenario-independent
• Prepare technical reports, papers and patents as the result of the research

Key Qualification

• M.Sc. in Mathematics/Physics/Engineering/Computer Science
• Background in EM waves theory and signal processing or some practical experience in signal processing/simulation of EM waves propagation.
• Knowledge of modern processing techniques based on Deep Learning and Machine Learning in general
• Proficiency in Python
• Capability to read papers on signal processing, Deep Learning and Machine Learning, and reproduce their results under the supervision of the Senior researcher
