We are now looking for VoIP Engineer.

Your tasks will include:

• Providing technical support for Veeam users who raise queries or log support requests via the ticketing system; handling helpdesk tickets, clarifying user concerns, and gathering all the necessary information to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner;
• Liaising directly with suppliers, vendors and third parties as part of the incident management process;
• Contributing to general operational support and participating in maintenance routines on Asterisk and integrated systems (SBC, CRM integration, voice quality monitoring, reporting);
• Proactively monitoring VoIP infrastructure using software tools to identify problems before outages or performance degradation occur;
• Analyzing system performance to ensure high system availability and accessibility for all users;
• Managing configurations, troubleshooting, provisioning, and coordinating integration with third party systems;
• Developing and maintaining system and configuration documentation;
• Participating in all relevant meetings to answer technical questions about VoIP services.

What we expect from you:

• dCAP certification or an equivalent level of knowledge;
• The ability to manage pure Asterisk configurations from the source;
• Experience writing a dialplan;

• Good knowledge of installing, configuring, and maintaining:
  • SIP, IAX, DUNDi;
  • PBX features: Voicemail, Queues, IVR, MusicOnHold, ChanSpy, FollowMe, Call Forward, etc.;
  • AMI/AGI/ARI;
  • PJSIP.
• Experience in SBC administration (AudioCodes);
• The ability to troubleshoot internal and external VoIP issues; hands-on experience analyzing SIP traces, TCP dumps, IP packets;
• Strong IP-networking skills, a solid understanding of the OSI model and the TCP/IP stack;
• Experience in Linux administration;
• Basic knowledge of MySQL/Postgres;
• Knowledge of Bash scripting;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• English (of at least an intermediate level).

Additional pluses:

• Knowledge of Python;
• Experience in AGI/ARI programming;
• Knowledge of DUNDi;
• Knowledge of monitoring systems (SolarWinds);
• Hands-on experience of MS Teams.
