We are looking for a Software QA Team Lead to be a key member of the QA department. In this role, your primary goal will be to lead the testing QA team for our key software product – the AR Rendering Engine – a system that works at the intersection of modern navigation, data processing and augmented reality visualization technologies.

Key goals

• Evaluate and improve the automated and manual product test process
• Build and coach the team, active involvement in the hiring process
• Process daily routines for the team: resource allocation, work planning, execution/progress tracking, syncs with other teams.
• Build effective communication with other teams (devs, integration, DevOps, it, etc).
• Automate QA activities and implement necessary frameworks
• Settle the process for the up to date test documentation
• Implement automotive industry quality standards into the software development process
• Develop/design full-scale test strategies and plans

Essential skills

General

• Degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, or it/math/physics
• Wide tech background
• 5 years in QA, at least 2 years lead experience
• Fluent English (B2/C1 or better)

Management and people skills

• Proven record of people management skills (with teams of 5 or more people)
• Experience in building and improving workflows and tool-chain
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skill
• Ability to keep your spirits high in the situation of risk, pressure, and uncertainty
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Hands-on experience with the toolset: Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Trello, test-track

Technical skills

• Python and test automation tools
• Linux, bash
• Git, Jenkins

Domain skills

• Domain knowledge in automotive (self-driving, HMI) or navigation applications, AR/VR, or driving simulators - nice to have
• ASpice and ISTQB certificates are a plus
