The Sales Development Representative (SDR) supports Account Managers (AM) in an assigned market by qualifying potential new business. The SDR is responsible for discovering and managing lead generation using various tools and social platforms. To open doors with potential new customers, the SDR will utilize cold calling, email campaigns and a variety of other outreach efforts that are tracked daily. The goal of each outbound attempt is to develop qualified prospects and book introductory meetings for the AM and DevOps teams. SDRs increase their earnings by working hand in hand with their AM to collectively grow and develop sales pipelines.
SDR / Outbound Sales duties and responsibilities
- Market Research to develop warm leads in EU and UK territory
- Contact prospective customers by LinkedIn, messengers, cold calls
- Identify prospects that fit the target customer profile
- Use product knowledge to showcase the service that Flant offers to prospects
- Vet lead list for warm and cold leads
- Use CRM to track progress with new prospects
- Report weekly sales goals and objectives
- Maintain contact with existing clients to make sure they are satisfied and request referrals
Outbound Sales requirements and qualifications
- Fearless attitude and a hunter mentality
- Networking aptitude
- Experience identifying customer needs and making service recommendations
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening
- Service-oriented mentality with the ability to quickly establish rapport
- Demonstrate empathy and prescriptive next step advice to resolve customer issues
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
- Previous working experience in Sales for 2 years
