The Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Saint Petersburg R&D office.

Veeam builds products to meet complex backup and data management challenges. We work with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and Nutanix AHV virtualization; Windows, Linux and Unix physical systems; Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, Oracle and SAP HANA servers; Amazon, Azure and Google Cloud public clouds; and many other technologies that form the core of modern IT.

We are now looking for DevOps Engineer with Python.

Project is on the development stage, we need a self-sufficient specialist with architectural mind who could take the project, develop it, help with implementing and support, with perspectives of expanding the tasks field and team.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing, implementing and support of internal test labs deployment tools
• Writing and keeping up to date related internal KB articles
• Communicating with the tools users (QA engineers) regarding technical issues, troubleshooting and fixing them
• Proactive research of new approaches and solutions

Technical stack:

• Ansible
• Python
• Vmware vSphere
• Hashicorp Packer
• Minio

What we expect from you:

• Python development experience
• Infrastructure tasks automation (e.g. Ansible)
• Familiar with DEVops tools like Jenkins, containerization solutions etc.
• Commercial team development experience

Will be an advantage:

• Experience of working with VMware API
• Web-development experience (python, flask)
• REST API experience
